Respirometer Donated to General Hospital Kandy Srilanka
in memory of the late Dr JB Walalwela
A much needed Respirometer was donated to the Kandy General Hospital by the family of the late Dr J B Walalwela former Director of Quarantine Services at an event following the alms giving ceremony held at the Medical Director's Office Kandy.

Dr Walalwela'es family took this initiative in conjunction with his alumni of the 1972 entrants to the Medical, Dental & Veterinary sciences, University of Ceylon, Peradeniya known as MDV Batch 72.

Dr Kiriwathuduwa who represented the anaesthetic department on behalf of Dr Vishwa Uduwela thanked the family and commented that this equipment will go a long way to treat seriously ill patients in the intensive therapy unit. Batch MDV 72 was represented by Prof Preeni Abeynayke and Dr Sati Ariyanayagam.
