The truest action of respect for these November heroes is to build
the world they fought for
Uwa provincial councillor, JVP central committee member Samantha Vidyarathna at United Kingdom November Heroes commemoration.

"Think about the society we are living in today; is it not true that the education system has deteriorated since 1989? Is it not true that the Health facilities have deteriorated since 1989? Is it not true that corruption has increased since 1989? Is it not true that the general living condition has greatly worsened since 1989? The November Heroes sacrificed their lives to change this unjust society. They did not have any personal agendas. They sacrificed their lives for a noble cause. The truest action of respect for these November heroes is to build the world they fought for."

Samantha Vidyarathna addressed the commemoration via internet which was organised by JVP UK committee. The commemoration was held on 19 November at Vale farm sport centre Sudbury London.

The member's supporters and the well-wishers of JVP who live in UK respected the fallen heroes by laying flowers and lighting candles in front of the creative commemoration statue.

The ex JVP secretory late Upatissa Gamanayake's Daughter Dr Janitha Gamanayeke's psesentation about the 1988/89 uprising, was exceptional on this event.

The event was presented by Committee member Ranjith Wijesiriwardena and Organiser of JVP committee in UK Dharshana Hettiarachchi addressed the meeting.
