New home for a destitute family
Under the able guidance of head of the Jethawana Buddhsit Vihara in Paris and the Chief Adhikarana Sangha Nayaka of France, Most Ven. Murungasyaye Gnanissara Nayaka Thera, a newly built house was donated to a deserving family in Middeniya, in the southern province of Sri Lanka.

The house was built by Mr. and Mrs. D.D.E. Kodithuwakku of Manning Town, Colombo in memory of their beloved son Asanka Pathma Sri Dias Kodithuwakku who passed in 2013.

The recipients of the newly built house lived in a small roughly built hut.

The presentation party included the former Vice Chancellor of the Ruhunu University Professor Ranjith Senarathne, Mrs. Senarathna, Luxman Rajapaksha, Engineer K.Premakumara and Retired Navel Engineer Ranaweera weerakkody.
